TUM Center for Study and Teaching - Quality Management, Legal Division and Communications

The Study and Teaching - Quality Management department at the TUM Center for Study and Teaching advises and supports teachers and faculty management in the establishment, evaluation, quality assurance and further development of study programs. It also provides incentives for excellent teaching through teaching awards and support programs for innovative teaching.

The Study and Teaching - Legal Division department at the TUM Center for Study and Teaching is responsible for the review of statutes and the processing of appeals related to study and teaching. In individual cases, it also supports TUM schools and departments in legal matters concerning academic and student affairs.

The Study and Teaching - Communications Department at the TUM Center for Study and Teaching coordinates the presentation and public image of the study programs and study-related services of TUM. It assumes an advising role in the profile development of study programs, supports internationalization and promotes innovative impulses for studies and teaching through idea management.

If you wish to file an appeal against a Notification of Examination Results or a Letter of Rejection issued by TUM, please refer to the information on legal remedies amended to the respective document. If you have already filed an appeal, the responsible administrator will contact you in writing as soon as the factual and legal situation has been reviewed.

The Study and Teaching - Legal Division is exclusively responsible for handling appeals. We, therefore, request that you refrain from making inquiries to members of the Quality Management team.
